I have thought long and hard about this Mt Gnomon people and I couldn't eat a pig's tail - hypocritical I know but there it is. Couldn't do trotters either (regrettably have in mind that dear little piglet from some posts back, sob).I think my pork has to be a bit anonymous. Hope the Dairy Shorthorns are settling in well. We admit that tails might not be for everybody, although they are quite tasty if you don't mind getting your fingers messy. If we are going to kill an animal we should try and use as much of it as possible, and not just the prime cuts.
